MANCHESTER METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY

We hold a mini Fair once a month on a Monday on the Alsager site of he University. We are in the Wesley Atrium next to the restaurant. There are plenty of parking spaces on site but visitors must get a car pass from Reception before parking.

NEWCASTLE-u-LYME

This is just a small section of the stalls at the weekly Thursday market in the High Street. The Market runs from about 8am until 3pm although most of the record stalls are open by about 7.30am. The main area is between the Nat West Bank and Woolworth - as can be seen in the photo. Besides the half dozen pure music stalls there are usually a lot more boxes of CDs and vinyl scattered around the Market. In the Summer months or in good weather there can be up to 50 stalls but down to about 20 during Winter.

The music covers all genres ranging from classical vinyl and CDs to metal, punk, soul, jazz etc. Stock tends to rotate weekly and anyone contemplating a first time visit can always contact us and we'll try and bring specific items.

The Market gets a good crowd of regular visitors and many travel long distances. Some of our regulars come from as far apart as Finland and Norway!
